What show-ready looks like
Each kind of clean on this page ends at a different point. A rough clean is done when the subfloor is swept and the debris is bagged. A final clean is done when there is no dust on a sill and no sticker on a window. Photography prep is done when there are no streaks left for the camera to pick up.
How a new build gets cleaned
We work from the top down. Ceiling fans and light fixtures come first, then cabinets and counters, then baseboards, and the floors last on the way out. Dust falls while you clean, and a house cleaned in the wrong order has to be cleaned twice.
What buyers notice on a walk-through
Buyers look at the glass, and they look down. A window with a builder sticker still on it, or a floor with a haze of drywall dust, tells them the house was rushed. Those are the details we check before we leave.
